TRINITY ROSE RELEASES GEN-Z SINGLE ‘MORNING TEXT’
Seventeen-year-old Trinity Rose, the youngest female contestant on NBC’s The Voice, recently released her stunning new single, “Morning Text.”
“Morning Text,” co-written by X-Factor contestant Steve Damar, was produced by Scar. According to Trinity, “The song is inspired by real-life – about someone being way more interested in me than I am in them and me not saying ‘no’ to the attention and the addiction of responding to texts. It basically stems from him giving me all this attention. It was super flattering but I was not that into him. I didn’t want to be mean to him, and then I realized I didn’t want to end the texting. In fact, I really enjoyed it!”
Trinity has performed at The Hotel Café in Hollywood, Gladstone’s, and Rainbow Bar & Grill in L.A. Last year, she released her single, “Miss You,” which was co-written by, and features, Aidan Gallagher, the star of Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy. “Miss You” has accumulated more than 1 million streams in just a few months.
With “Morning Text,” Trinity Rose dishes out cool savors of R&B melded with dazzling pop flavors, all topped by her creamy delectable tones.
As part of the L.A. Mayor’s Youth Council, Trinity was appointed your ambassador for Round Table Global, a program highlighting young people changing the world for better. In addition, she actively participates in Rosie G Style, a charity for Cystic fibrosis.
Describing the sound of “Morning Text,” Trinity shares, “I think the vibe of ‘Morning Text’ is a lot of fun and different from what I have recorded before. Where some of my earlier tunes are darker, I like the easy bounciness and lightheartedness of this one. It’s just a fun contemporary R&B pop song. This is me developing and exploring other genres and discovering who I am as an artist. I’m excited to continue that journey on the new EP.”
“Morning Text” opens on shimmering colors, followed by the entrance of Trinity’s scrumptious deluxe voice, pushing out velvety textures imbued with tasty rasping inflections and sensual passion. A thumping kick-drum provides a brawny rhythmic pulse while oozing, oscillating R&B hues tremble overhead.
“Call me every morning just to say good morning / I don't hate it, don’t hate it / Call me every night just to see if I’m fine / I don't hate it, don’t hate it.”
