We bring you the maiden voyage of the Rawckus Magazine Spotify Playlist. The list comes out swinging hard with some Zac Harmon, lamenting the girl he wants and what he’s willing to do to get her, Tommy Castro bats second and adds to the party with some straight monkey bidness.
"True Lies" by Kenny Wayne brings the thunder, followed by a Buddy Guy/Jonny Lang collaboration. Of course, no Bluesy BadAssNess is complete without Stevie.
Sea Level, and old band with Allman Brothers roots grooves “Shake a Leg”, which if you’ve never heard, you’re going to play over and over.
Janiva rolls out “Real Slow” a medium tempo funk jam with a killer chorus. “Guero in the Bario” is a funny but telling slice o life by Los Lonely Boys.
Jonny Lang up next with a classic Muddy Waters tune. Gov’t Mule with a collab with Stevie’s brother Jimmy takes up a slower tempo.
John Mayall, Indigious and Gary Moore do what they do, with a beautiful and masterful touch.
The Strange Tones, a band out of Portland Oregon, create a slow, hypnotic groove with “Farmer Trents Wife.” Jeff Healy, RIP, loves too much, as we all do, sometimes.
Bullets are flying like a mofo with Coco. The Sheepdogs “I Don’t Know” keeps things interesting. Samantha Fish has a highway that draws her and Graham BLVD's version of Johnny Guitar Watson's "A Real Mother for Ya" brings the funk most stupendously and to finish...Jason Aldean just wants some attention.
Enjoy the playlist and pass it on.
