SnugHouse, an indie folk quartet based out of Portland Maine are releasing a new single “Irie” on May 25th. The song features the elements, which are typical for the group, accessible and mostly acoustic instrumentation, well blended vocal harmonies and lyrics that capture the spirit of the human condition.
Written by Alex Millan about a time she spent as a nanny and arranged by Nikhil Dasgupta, Alex has this to say about the experience:
“Leaving the city at the crack of dawn each morning cleared my head and shifted my perspective on life,” says Alex about her experience. “I spent my days following the whims of a curious toddler. My insecurities and anxieties about the world quickly became superficial.”
The song is an audience favorite and is a follow up to the bands debut, self-titled EP, available on Spotify and iTunes, at Bull Moose (151 Middle St., Portland, ME), and at shows
