Sizzy Rocket got started by waking up one day and moving to NYC to start her own punk rock band, followed by doing her own booking at venues and dropping songs for her legions of Twitter followers to listen to. Eventually, she caught the attention of UMPG, which signed her.
2016 found her dropping her debut album, Thrills, featuring the single, “Bestie,” which went viral and amassed vast praise from top-tier media outlets. She followed with a mixtape, entitled Hot Summer, and then in 2019 released her second album, GRRRL, followed by going on tour across the U.S, playing to SRO crowds. She then teamed up with chloe mk on a two-track EP, I Know What U Like.

Her DIY strategy has paid off, allowing her to start her own record label, conceive and implement her own line of merchandise, and generate cutting-edge, galvanizing music like “That Bitch.”
The in-your-face lyrics of the bridge on “That Bitch” reveal her pushy, snarling defiance, a musical middle-finger to all and sundry.

“That Bitch” opens on almost dulcet vocals riding a piano, and then takes off on a dark, throbbing rhythm topped by surging groans of sound, as Sizzy Rocket snarls out her vocal warning. Light chiming accents imbue the tune with luminous sparkles, adding a taut gleaming layer of pressure to the harmonics.
