Moments ago, Santa Clara-based pop-rock singer-songwriter Joey Gonzalez released a new single, entitled “New Days Glory,” the first in a planned series of forthcoming releases throughout 2020.

Describing the song’s inspiration, Joey says, “’New Days Glory’ is a song about embracing change and facing the fear, anxiety and doubt that comes with change. There is something amazing that happens within us when we take that chance. It truly is a dawning of a new day.”
Growing up in a family immersed in music, Joey’s father’s career as a professional opera singer spanned six decades. Joey was exposed to a vast array of musical influences, ranging from classical to rock and roll. Along with music, the family’s foundation included faith and love, with both concepts inculcated by Joey’s mother.
Later, as he began his own musical journey, Joey’s sound amalgamated the diverse muses gleaned from his father with the magnetic energy of pop-rock rooted in gospel worship music. The result is melodies throbbing with innovative momentum, captivating lyricism, and mystical evocations designed to challenge and inspire.
