Izzy Bizu - Lights On
The UK’s dazzling songstress Izzy Bizu released the lyric video for “Lights On” just moments ago. The song is from Bizu’s forthcoming EP, Glita, slated to drop April 12.

Talking about the new single, Izzy Bizu says, "'Lights On' is about throwing caution to the wind and going with what you feel rather than what you think (or what you think other people will think). It's about growing up and losing your inhibitions, but there is a loss of innocence in that and it can be easy to lose your way.”
Glita will be Bizu’s first official release since her debut album, A Moment of Madness, which dropped in 2016, and so far has racked up more than 230 million streams. Glita comprises five new tracks, along with a revised version of “Someone That Loves You,” featuring Chris Martin of Coldplay.
Bizu arrived with the release of “White Tiger,” and hurtled to even greater success when named BRITs Critics’ Choice finalist, followed by being baptized ‘Introducing Artist of the Year’ by the BBC, followed by two sold out tours of the UK.
Bizu’s spectacular flow embellishes the lyrics with indulgent, creamy timbres riding cashmere textures.
During the interlude between A Moment of Madness and Glita, Bizu has kept busy, working with Studio Samuel, a non-profit organization benefitting young women in Ethiopia, as well as representing a number of brands.
“Lights On” opens on surfacing synths and crackling percussion flowing into an R&B-flavored trap-lite beat. Remote glimmering colors suffuse the tune with soft shimmering resonance, as Bizu’s deliciously sensuous tones float dreamily overhead.
