Is Grimes Dating Elon Musk Interesting?
The Met Gala happened recently. It's a benefit or a fundraiser of some kind. It has something to do with the arts. I don't really care, to be honest. People pay attention to it because celebrities go and they dress like fucking lunatics. Social media is flooded with pictures of people like Rihanna looking completely insane.

Maybe if you are into fashion you can get something out of it. For music fans, though, something else happened at the Met Gala this year that caused a clamor. Apparently Grimes is dating Elon Musk. The question, thus, is whether or not this is interesting.
Now, it's definitely weird. Nobody is likely to argue against that. Musk is some billionaire dude who makes flamethrowers and wants to go to Mars and thinks we are living in a simulation or some shit. He's like a parody of an out-of-touch billionaire. The idea of him dating feels incongruous, even if weirdos deserve romance too.
Grimes, to be fair, is also a weirdo, but she's an artsy weirdo, which I am more comfortable with. I did not come here to slag off weirdos. I don't mean that as an insult, only as a descriptor. I'm not a huge fan of Grimes, but "Flesh Without Blood" is a banger, and "Kill vs. Maim" isn't bad.

This is just an unusual pairing, is all. If Grimes was dating, like, Jared Leto, I could see that. He was at the Met Gala too, by the way. However, none of this answers the question, "Is this interesting?" People were certainly talking about it. They seemed disappointed in Grimes, by and large. They were definitely baffled.
There was a report that they met because Musk was going to tweet some sort of joke about artificial intelligence or something and found out Grimes had already tweeted effectively the same joke. That's annoying, but it's not interesting. In the end, the fact I have done no research in writing this probably answers the question for me. No, the fact Elon Musk is dating Grimes is not interesting. Just go listen to "Flesh Without Blood" and maybe watch that Simpsons episode Musk did a voice on. It was alright, at least by modern Simpsons standards.
