Just yesterday, Instrumentals from Mizoram dropped a new music video, called “Anthem of the Hills.” And if you’re into slick guitar licks, then don’t miss this one. This is not only a gorgeous tune, but features dazzling, superlative, effulgent talent.

Drums by Pate-a Magdalene and bass by Zonunsanga Khiangte, with guitar work by some the names listed below. The list was taken directly from the project’s Facebook page. Who is who, I have no clue, but any of them can play in my band.
“David Z Hmar. Guitarist of Dreamhunter band, Mizo living guitar legend, advanced shredder , known for his melodious solos and super clear Legato. President of the MZI (Mizo Zaimi Inzawmkhawm Pawl).
Hmingpuia: Guitarist of Albatross Band. One of the most respected guitar players in mizoram, prominent studio session guitarist for many local artists in the late 90's & 2000's. His 'Six- String Slinger' (2005) was the first all-instrumental guitar album.
Lawma: He's well known for producing soaring melodies, and has even released an all-instrumental guitar album called End of the Day. He has completed Grade 8 in western classical under Trinity London.
Ztpa: Guitarist of progressive rock/Metal band Drop Doubt and guitar instructor and co-owner at Drop Doubt School of Music. An accomplished shredder that the mizo's have fallen in love with. He is among the few to have completed Grade 8 under Rockschool London (guitar) & Trinity Guildhall London (theory).

Eric Renza. Guitarist from a progressive metal band The Prophets, with lots of best guitarist awards to his name. Known for awesome synth sounds on guitar and melodic solos. Owner of Sword Tune Records.
Zosanga Ralte. One of the most advanced jazz rock fusion guitar players that Mizoram has to offer.
Ruatdika. Known early as a child prodigy, already shredding away at age 11, guitarist of El Volente band, Won plenty of Best Guitarist Awards.
Ephraim Malsawma. Well-rounded player, Guitarist from a band called THE Breeze. he is one of the most popular session guitarists, sometimes venturing into jazz. Easily recognizable clean and smooth touch, setting him apart from others around him, A Perfectionist.
Booma: Easily the most well-known guitar player in Mizo music history. Guitarist of the popular Boomarang and Upcoming Sound from the hills band, Head of department at Centre of Excellence in Indian and Western Music, Shillong and Tura. The rest, as they say, is history.
Victor da scavenger: Guitarist of The Scavenger Project and former guitarist and co- founder of Magdalene band. Owner at Scavenger Records. Guitar tone and sound whiz and creative musician. Producer and convener of the 'Anthem of the Hills' project.”
