DILLON FORTE: INK ARTIST TO CELEBRITIES AND ROCKSTARS
International tattoo artist Dillon Forte has applied ink to mega-stars such as Usher, Imagine Dragons’ Ben McKee, movie star Chris Hemsworth, Kat Von D, and singer-songwriter Kehlani.

Famous for his matchless designs encompassing Sacred Geometry, blackwork, and dotwork into balanced, fluid patterns, Dillon performs his art from his Sri Yantra Tattoo studios in Venice, California, and Oakland, California. His massive presence on social media and high-profile clients from around the world necessitates a year-long waiting list.
An innovator and environmentalist, Dillon established his line of eco-friendly products for tattoo artists under the brand name Forte Tattoo Tech. Each product was created with professionals in mind; all ingredients are biodegradable and non-toxic. Products include Eco Razors, Eco Cling, PLA ink caps, cord sleeves, bottle bags, rinse cups, theurgy salves, Eco Pens, and clip cord sleeves, all manufactured from sugar cane, hemp, paper, and bamboo.

Dillon explains, “Most products used in our industry are disposable and made from plastic or other petroleum products. Each time we toss something in the trash, there’s a bit of guilt. Something needs to change.”
Recently, Dillon teamed up with Inkbox, the Toronto-based company, releasing 24 different temporary tattoos, called “For Now Ink.” Each tattoo may be applied in one to two minutes and lasts for one to two weeks. Again, the constituents, obtained from South African fruit, are non-toxic and safe.
An accomplished photographer, Dillon has traveled the world seeking out unique locations and singular opportunities to capture form and light. Many of his photos have appeared in gallery exhibitions, along with his paintings and murals.
