Cat Cafe Features a Wax Ed Sheeran

Have you ever been to a cat café? I have…sort of. Technically the place I go to is a cat shelter that you can get some coffee to tea from, but to call it a café is perhaps stretching it. Still, you have some tea, you play with some cats. It's a good time.

There are more legitimate cafes out there that also have cats strewn about. It makes sense. People love cats, and cats won't get all up in your shit while you try and have some coffee. Unlike dogs. Now, imagine going to a cat café and seeing Ed Sheeran. That'd be pretty crazy. Then, imagine finding out that it's actually a wax statue.

If you walked into a certain cat café in in London recently, you could have had that experience. Lady Dinah's Cat Emporium currently has a wax figure of Sheeran on display on loan from Madame Tussauds. The singer loves cats almost as much as he loves bland pop songs. Hey, he's won Grammys, so he has to be onto something.

The statue features Sheeran strumming a guitar, and it looks fucking creepy. That's because it's a wax statue, to be fair. They all look insane. It's the uncanny valley. The cats hopefully don't mind. They also hopefully won't get too attached to the statue. It is going to be brought over to Madame Tussauds London in due time. Then, never again will a patron walk into a cat café and ask, "Why is there a wax statue of Ed Sheeran in here?"
