The singles on the Grammy Ballot include “The Liar” and “Don’t Stop Now,” both from Moon’s Little Miss Hollywood, which dropped July 31 and collected immediate attention from top-notch outlets such as American Songwriter, CelebMix, Consequence of Sound, Discobelle, New Noise, Hype Machine, Substream, and Spill, among a host of others.

Speaking about inclusion on the Grammy ballot, Moon says, “It’s always an honor and unique opportunity to be associated with anything GRAMMY. I’m crossing my fingers that this ballot inclusion leads to an official nomination, and am confident that those that vote in the industry along with my family, friends, and most importantly my fans will come through on getting us there.”

Moon first made her mark on the music industry during the ‘90s, signing with A&M Records, followed the label releasing her self-titled debut album, featuring two singles, “I Get High” and “One Kiss,” climbing the charts. Moon toured and appeared with Pink Floyd in Toronto.

When combined with her voluptuous voice, Moon’s music projects raw dynamism, along with heady textures of interweaving layers of sound.

Not long afterward, Moon formed Violet Records, released her sophomore album, STIR, followed by Doll Machine via Sextant Records/EMI. In 2005, she founded Evolver Music. Later relocating to Los Angeles, Moon continued to release a steady stream of outstanding albums and EPs, including chart-topping singles.

Moon’s music has appeared in films and television shows: Dexter, Californication, Walking the Dead, Last Gasp, Teen Mom, and Young and Pregnant, as well as many more.

Moon’s sound, simultaneously electrifying and alluringly sensuous blends elements of rock, soul, punk, and electro-pop into captivating sonic compositions rife with potent energy and tantalizing colors. When combined with her voluptuous voice, Moon’s music projects raw dynamism, along with heady textures of interweaving layers of sound.

Presently, Betty Moon is in the studio writing new material and laying down tracks for forthcoming singles and, hopefully, yet another album.
